Echocardiography is one of the most challenging ultrasound examinations.

Bone and air limit ultrasound transmission. A cardiac ultrasound probe must find a narrow acoustic window between the ribs and air-filled lungs. The heart is also always moving. Rapid valve motion and changing blood flow make image acquisition and cardiac function assessment more difficult.

These conditions require strong image quality from an echocardiography machine. They also make echocardiography training difficult. Learners must master standard views, measurements, and workflow before they can scan with confidence.

Clear cardiac imaging: A single-crystal phased-array transducer provides penetration and sensitivity. Adaptive noise reduction and motion compensation help define endocardial borders and valve structures. High-frame-rate color Doppler echocardiography tracks changing blood flow.

Faster AI-assisted measurements: Auto EF, Strain and Strain Rate, and TDI-SonoPW support endocardial tracing and parameter acquisition. They can reduce repetitive steps, improve workflow efficiency, and support measurement consistency.

Systems for different settings: SonoMax supports detailed cart-based examinations. SonoBook and SonoGO provide portable ultrasound machine options for outpatient clinics, emergency care, ICU bedside imaging, mobile screening, and point of care ultrasound.

Dr. Rajesh Roy directs the Echocardiography Program at Parul University and specializes in cardiovascular imaging. He has presented rare cardiac cases at ECHOCON and published a case report on a case reported as the first of its kind in India.

Standard echocardiography views take time to master. Dr. Roy created The Basic ECHO Lab Manual to give learners a practical bedside reference. The manual connects standard views with hands-on scanning.

The Basic ECHO Lab Manual was registered with Intellectual Property India in 2025. It is now used in a growing number of ultrasound classrooms.

Dr. Roy's team combines the manual with CHISON cardiac ultrasound systems in advanced courses and hands-on workshops. According to the project team, these programs have trained thousands of cardiovascular physicians in primary and frontline care.

The project links an echocardiography book, clinical images, and hands-on training. CHISON equipment supports learners as they move from standard views to practical scanning.
